when harvey comics was bought and entered into a partnership with universal studios, a plan to revive the classic character library was initiated. first up, was a revival of baby huey: the obese baby duck with the strength of gorilla and the mind of a three-toed hydra.
these were some of the first cartoons i directed. especially fun is the short, "EGGS!"- the score was done by the late-great musical talent, harvey cohen. he used a live jazz combo to recreate the music of leroy shield, the 1930s composer of many hal roach comedies such as our gang and laurel & hardy.
thanks for the great work, harvey!
